OnRentX applications access your device's location (GPS) to operate the platform: 1) In the Client and Operator applications in the foreground (while the app is open): we collect your location to display nearby machinery, facilitate navigation to worksites, and record equipment deliveries and pickups. 2) In the Operator application in the background (even when the app is closed or minimized): when an operator starts an active work shift or machinery transfer, the app collects GPS coordinates in the background with prior explicit consent via a prominent disclosure. This enables the client and the operations team to view the machinery route in real time while the operator drives, ensuring equipment integrity and validating arrival times. Background tracking stops automatically upon task completion or closing the shift. You can revoke location permissions at any time from your device settings. Location is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
